With an analysis of the characteristics of beijing , the condition of its population distribution , and an exposure of the contradictions between road structure and modern traffic means , the author argues that urban roads ( railway lines ) shall be constructed ahead of districts ( blocks ) , and light rail transport shall be given more attention to than metro development , and finally suggests that the structure of transport shall be optimized , including the construction of passenger terminals and fast suburban railways , so as to meet the needs of a modern city 摘要分析了北京市的城市特點(diǎn)及人口分布現(xiàn)狀;指出了目前北京市道路結(jié)構(gòu)的問(wèn)題及其與現(xiàn)代化交通之間的矛盾;提出了要先建“線(xiàn)(路) ”后建“區(qū)” ,在發(fā)展地鐵的同時(shí)重視發(fā)展輕軌運(yùn)輸,按現(xiàn)代化城市要求優(yōu)化道路結(jié)構(gòu),建設(shè)客運(yùn)樞紐,發(fā)展市郊快速鐵路等建議。
